Smart Contract

A smart contract is a program deployed on a blockchain that runs exactly as written whenever it is called. It can hold and move digital assets according to its own rules, without an intermediary.

A security audit is a structured review of systems, code, configuration or processes against a defined standard. It produces findings showing where security falls short and how to fix it.

  • Smart Contract Developer

A smart contract developer writes, tests and deploys programs that run on a blockchain and execute automatically when conditions are met. Because contracts often hold value and are hard to change, buyers should weigh security track record above speed.

  • Upgradeable Proxy

An upgradeable proxy is a smart contract pattern that lets code be changed after deployment. A fixed proxy address holds the data, while a separate logic contract can be swapped for a new version.

  • Blockchain

A blockchain is a shared, append-only digital ledger that many computers keep in sync without a central owner. Records are grouped into blocks linked by cryptography, which makes past entries very hard to alter.

  • Formal Verification

Formal verification uses mathematical proof to show that a program meets stated properties for every possible input. It goes beyond testing, which only covers the cases someone tried, and is increasingly used on high-value contracts.

  • Gas Fee

A gas fee is the charge paid to a blockchain network to process a transaction or run smart contract code. It is priced per unit of computation and rises when the network is busy.
